First Easter!

It was Brian and I's first Easter together.  We did a little Easter egg hunt with our primary kids at church, which they seemed to really enjoy that.  We then went over to Brian's family to eat lunch with them.  Then we went over to my parents house to eat dinner and do an Easter egg hunt with all of my nieces and nephews.  It was so fun to watch all the kids get so excited finding Easter eggs.  We had a wonderful first Easter together and were happy to share it with our families.

SLEEPOVER!!!!

Saturday night I asked Brian if we could have a sleepover in our living room for part of our date night.  He was totally fine with it so we moved our mattress into our living room.  We at first tried to just put the couch cushions down but we didn't have enough cushions so Brian suggested we move our mattress in there.  It was the best idea ever!  We ate Pier 49 Pizza, I got frogurt and Brian got a strawberry milkshake from McDonald's.  We then watched TV.  It was seriously so much fun!  I look forward to our date nights every week and I'm thinking I might want to make our "sleepover" an annual thing too. 

CRUISE!!!

Brian and I decided that we needed a get away from life for a little and just be with each other so we decided to go on a cruise!  We figured it was our last chance for a long time to go on a vacation together.  Brian has a couple months free with no school until summer semester starts on June 1.  He has a lot of school ahead of him so we wouldn't have this chance to go somewhere together.  Plus when we have kids we won't be able to just go whenever we want.  Brian has never experienced a cruise so I'm SO excited to share it with him.  We are leaving from Long Beach, CA and going to Cabo and Puerto Vallarta for a week.  We originally were going to go to Cabo, Matzlan and Puerto Vallarta but they had to change it around because there are drug problems going on in Matzlan.  Which is a bummer because it would be cool to go there, but I think I'll be okay with just going to Cabo and Puerto Vallarta :).  We are driving to Long Beach May 21st through the night so we won't have to pay for a hotel and our cruise leaves on the 22nd.  Our cruise will be getting back on the 29th then we will be driving home after that.  It is such a long time away and I seriously can't wait.  It is killing me!  It is all I think about.  Hopefully I'll survive this LONG 40 days.  Who's counting? ;)
