CRUISE!!!!

Well we are home from our cruise unfortunately.  It was seriously so amazing and I did not want to come home at all.  Brian loved it and now wants to go on a lot more cruises, I knew he would!  The ship was huge and had so many things to do on it.  It had a basketball court, miniature golf, a slide, a couple of swimming pools, a water playground for the kids and so many other activities.  The food was fantastic, Brian swears he gained 10 pounds.  We ordered a lot of food at dinner, we got to eat a lot of things we don't normally eat which was fun.  Our servers were so nice and funny.  All of them sang and danced for us every night.  Our server got way into it, it was fun to see that side of him.  One of my favorite parts on the ship was the soft serve ice cream 24/7!!  I definitely took advantage of that.  I loved not having to worry about anything like work, cleaning, cooking and just to be able to relax.  It was so fun to just be able to be with Brian all the time and have time to ourselves.  Mexico was so fun to visit, the beach in Cabo was gorgeous and the zipline in Puerto Vallarta was such a blast.  Brian had a few issues with Mexico because he got so sick of all the Mexicans asking for our money.  That was his only complaint though.  We were at sea for 3 days so we laid by the pool, went to the shows/comedy's, ate, took naps and just relaxed.  I went running every morning on the track on the top of the ship (I didn't know where the gym was until the last day I finally found it, so annoying.)  It was fun to run "on" the ocean though.  None of us thankfully got sea sick.  The last day was the only day that we could really feel it moving because it was so windy it made some pretty big waves.  We went out to watch the waves and all of a sudden a whale came out of the water right next to the boat.  It was so cool!  Everyone that was out there was freaking out.  We don't know what kind of whale but we think it was a humpback whale.  Everything last week was just perfect!  The worst part about vacations is they end and you have to come back to the real world!  You look forward to it for what seems like forever and it is over so fast.  I'm most likely forgetting a lot of things to tell you that happened so sorry about that.  I took a lot more pics but I couldn't put all of them up so here are just a few!

Best Husband Award!!!

Let me just say that I have the cutest husband ever!  Since I'm not a mother yet, he made up Wife's Day.  He decided to celebrate it on Sunday since on Mother's Day we had family things going on and were never really alone.  He planned the whole day for me and just celebrated me being his wife.  It started out with him waking up at 6:15, which is a huge thing because he will never wake up the early even for work, to make me breakfast and chocolate covered strawberries, grapes and bananas.  He wanted to do the chocolate covered fruit early so they had time to be in the fridge.  He had gone to buy this really yummy raspberry bread from Great Harvest the day before and made french toast with it which I love!  He brought breakfast to bed for me and it was delicious!  For lunch he was planning on going to a park to have a picnic and then go on a walk but the wind was horrible so that idea couldn't work.  So we decided to just have our picnic in our living room.  We laid down a blanket and brought our food over and had an inside picnic.  He made Rotissorie Chicken sandwiches and had fruit.  (Had a good picture of all our food, but it wouldn't upload right.)

We then had our chocolate covered fruit and he was so nice and let me take a picture of us feeding each other our chocolate covered strawberries.

After our lunch we took a nap while watching Tangled.  He started on dinner and made Red Pepper Pasta which was really yummy!  After he put on our wedding video and brought out cookie dough and two spoons.  For those of you who don't know I LOVE cookie dough but without chocolate chips so he made me cookie dough with no chocolate chips.  It was amazing!!

He then gave me a long 45 minute back massage.  Which was very needed from all of my working out, my back gets really sore.  He then told me that I could get a new CTR ring, mine doesn't fit me anymore and is looking really gross, and some clothes.  It was seriously the best day ever!  I'm so lucky to have such an amazing husband!  Thank you Babe!!!

To my Mom!

I wanted to write a post dedicated to my beautiful mom!  There are no words that can describe what kind of person she is.  She is the most amazing person I have ever met and I'm so lucky to call her my mom.  There is never a time where she puts herself before others, she is always thinking of others.  She will do anything for anybody without a second thought or complaint.  She is so loving and caring to anyone she meets.  She is the most Christ like person and the spirit just shows right through her.  Her testimony of the gospel is so strong and I'm just so lucky to have the chance to learn from her.  I know I can count on her for anything.  I can talk to her about anything and she will always be there for me no matter what it is.  She has been the greatest example to me and I hope I will be able to be like her when I have my own kids to raise.  I can not thank her enough for all the things she has done for me.  I honestly don't know what I would do without her.  She is my best friend and I love her more than anything.  So thank you mom for all you do!  I LOVE YOU MORE THAN YOU WILL EVER KNOW!!!!

"Mom" for a weekend!

This weekend I had the privilege to watch my 15 month old niece Miri while my sister and brother in law were out of town.  It was such an amazing experience for me.  I got to see what it would be like to be a mom and let me tell you it was hard and time consuming but so worth it.  Babies sure do have a way to crawling into your heart.  She made me feel so loved and adored.  She always wanted me to hold her and would cry if anyone else tried to hold her because she just wanted me.  I loved having someone love me like that.  It was the best feeling in the world.  I loved going into the room to get her from her naps and her nights sleep and just seeing her face when she saw me.  Watching her play was so fun to watch because she would just get so excited and have the biggest smile on her face.  Then she'd crawl over to me and show it to me and crawl onto my lap.  She definitely wore me out but I loved every minute of it.  I am missing her already.  I never thought I would feel like this only after a weekend.  Babies really are a miracle!  I was planning on taking lots of pictures of her this weekend but I was just having to much fun and trying to make sure I was doing everything right that I totally forgot to.  I'm really bummed I didn't take any :(.  Thank you Trista for trusting me with your daughter!  It means a lot to me.
