Nala!

Ok so probably everyone knows how much I am scared and don't like dogs.... Well I now have a dog. I never in a million years thought I would have one. I never had a desire to ever have a dog. Getting Nala was kind of an accident. A lady had a litter of puppies so we went to go see them just for fun. She had 2 out of 10 puppies there but the boy had already been claimed. I fell in love with the little girl because she was so calm and would just come up and lay on your lap and fall asleep. The boy was fiesty and way too much for me. Nala had what we thought was an eye infection and her eye was swollen shut and just looked painful. The lady said that her friend's husband is a vet so she took her to him and he just said it was an eye infection and gave her drops to put in her eye. Brian didn't think the eye infection would have lasted two weeks so he asked to take her to the vet his parents go to. We took her and he found 3/4 inch foxtail weed inside her eye which was causing her swelling. He also gave us some medicine to put in her eye 4-6 times a day. The lady said she didn't have time to do that so she asked if we could. We took care of her for a couple of days but the lady told us we could keep her since we have been taking care of her. So we now have a cute little 6 week old Golden Retriever. You can tell she is loving having that weed out of her eye because she is a little more playful from when we saw her. My nieces and nephews that we live with absolutely adore her and always want to play.

I was getting ready and she just came up to me and fell asleep on my foot.

 I fell asleep and Nala just came on my lap and fell asleep with me

 She got sick of being on my lap so she moved onto the blanket.
