My friend Lori had a baby about 3 months ago and is having a really hard time getting used to being a mom. Her little Zander won't nap and let her out of his sight and is just fussy so she is exhausted. She texted me one day saying she really needs a break and asked if I would do something with her. I said of course! She came up with an idea to get a hotel and go lay out by the pool, have dinner and watch chick flicks and eat junk food. Her husband travels all the time for work and gets points for flight and hotels so he got us a hotel in Park City. My sister Cameo and I met Lori in Park City so we could leave early the next morning to be home in time for church. We got to the hotel and had valet parking. It was probably the nicest hotel I've ever been in. I felt like a million bucks. Everyone was so nice and served you. We went to the pool and was there for about half an hour when it started pouring. We ran inside the hotel and waited for it to pass then went back to the pool to lay out some more. We then went to Main Street and had dinner at some Grill restaurant, which was really good. We arrived back to our hotel got in our pj's and picked out a movie to watch. We then discovered there was not a DVD player. Bummer! Luckily, we found Bride Wars on TV to watch. We all got into the king size bed and there were only 4 pillows on the bed. Well Cameo and Lori decided to take them so I had none. I called the lobby to get another pillow and the lady was asking me what kind of pillow I wanted. Really?! I didn't know there were different kinds of pillows I could get. She could tell I was confused so she told me the one that was on the bed and got me that one. It was very funny and we had a good time laughing at that. It's one of those times where you had to be there. We then ate cookie dough and oreos, which were so good! I of course did not last long at the movie and fell asleep near the beginning of the movie. We woke up early in the morning and left for church. Thanks Lori for inviting me and Kelly for getting the hotel for us. I had such a blast and can't wait for the next one! ;)
